Christine Holloway

Special to the Herald

I, Christine Holloway, as a candidate for Alderman, am running on a diverse platform that collectively fosters safe and positive relationships between local leadership and the community.

I am focused on bringing a vibrant business community that can both service and offer job opportunities to the local people of Leakesville. My years of experience with local authorities influences my vision of assisting with the development of a city police department. It is my priority to ensure the welfare of local citizens. I also value the beautifying and safety of our town by providing the maintenance of our neighborhoods and roads. I am also committed to our youth by helping to create activities and programs that will build character. Above all, I am committed to transparency on decisions being made on behalf of local citizens.

I have been consistently committed to the community by working at the Greene County Sheriff’s Office for the past 19 years. I am a dedicated, life-long member of New Providence Baptist Church and the Mother of three wonderful children and a special daughter-in-law. I am also a proud Grandmother of seven.

I, Christine Holloway, respectfully ask for your vote for Alderman. Standing ready to represent your voice and concerns, I promise to govern through fair and honest leadership.
