Greene County Circuit Court recently wrapped up its May term of court. The following is a summary of the criminal proceeedings from last month.
Jaspen Carolina Poole, 20, of McLain, pled guilty to a 2017 charge of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a correctional facility. Sentencing was deferred until Aug. 27, 2019.
MDOC inmate Khaleed Pigram, 22, pled guilty to a 2018 charge of simple assault on a police officer and was sentenced to five years consecutive to his current sentence.
James Dalton Deakle, 24, of Beaumont, pled guilty to a Sep. 2017 attempted grand larceny charge. He was sentenced to five years at MDOC, suspended for time served with the remainder on post-release supervision (PRS).
MDOC inmate Jaymon Nunnery, 25, pled guilty to an Oct. 2017 escape of prisoner charge. He was sentenced to five years with MDOC, with three to serve consecutive to his current sentence.
MDOC inmate Jerome Harris, 26, pled guilty to a Mar. 2017 charge of simple assault on a peace officer. He was sentenced to five years with four years to serve consecutive to his current sentence.
Timothy Lavon Jordon, 27, of Meridian, pled guilty to an Aug. 2016 charge of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon (PWCF). His sentencing was deferred until Jul. 3, 2019.
Christopher Preeman, 28, of Neely, pled guilty to an Apr. 2017 charge for possession of a controlled substance-meth, and was sentenced to three years of non-adjudicated probation.
Joseph Lee Dueitt, 30, of Bainbridge, Ga., pled guilty to a 2017 charge of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine. He was sentenced to three years with MDOC, suspended for time served.
Jonathan Morris, 31, of Leakesville, pled guilty to a Jan. 2018 charge of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine. He was sentenced to three years of non-adjudicated probation.
Charles Jay Burhorn, 31, of Leakesville, pled guilty to a Jan. 2018 charge of burglary of a dwelling. He was sentenced to 15 years in the custody of MDOC, but saw the sentence suspended for time served and remainder on PRS.
Bradie Isaac Douglass III, 31, of Citronelle, Ala., was resentenced to three years with MDOC on a Jun. 2016 charge of possession of a controlled substance- methamphetamine.
Everson Reed, 32, of MDOC, pled guilty to a Nov. 2017 charge of escape of prisoner. He was sentenced to five years with three years to serve.
Thomas Derrick Bradley, 34, of Leakesville, pled guilty to a 2017 charge of accessory after the fact to burglary and was sentenced to 10 years with three years to serve and the remainder on PRS. A seperate charge was dismissed (Nolle Pros) as part of a plea agreement.
Ashley Nicole Allen, 36, of Moss Point, pled guilty to a June 2016 charge of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a correctional facility and was sentenced to five years of non-adjudicated probation.
Chad Keith Yonce, 38, of Hattiesburg, pled guilty to a June 2018 charge of conspiracy to introduce contraband and was sentenced to five years with MDOC. A Feb. 2018 charge for possession of a controlled substance was dropped (Nolle Pros) as part of a pled deal made with the court.
Ibrey Leona Green, 39, of Neely, pled guilty to a Jan. 2018 charge of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and a Nov. 2017 charge of accessory after the fact to burglary. She was sentenced to three years of non-adjudicated probation for the first charge and five years non-adjudicated probation for the second charge.
MDOC inmate Christopher Ray Ingram, 43, saw charges dismissed (Nolle Pros) for a Mar. 2018 charge of possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility.
Tanya Burford, 46, of Waynesboro, pled guilty to a reduced charge of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine associated with a Mar. 2015 arrest. She was sentenced to three years of non-adjudicated probation.
David Harvison, 46, of McLain, pled guilty to a Mar. 2018 charge of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine. He was sentenced to three years, suspended for time served, and PRS consecutive to his current sentence.
Timmie Lebarron Moffett, 47, of MDOC, had charges dismissed (Nolle Pros) on a 2015 charge of attempted perjury.
Marshall Dunnam, 50, of McLain, pled guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance-meth stemming from an Apr. 2018 arrest. He was sentenced to six months in jail, suspended, and a fine.
Christine Hall Sumner, 57, of Leakesville, pled guilty to two 2017 charges of transfer of a controlled substance-hydrocodon and transfer of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and hydrocodone. Five charges against Sumner for other drug-related charges are set to be dismissed (Nolle Pros) based on a plea agreement with the court. Sentencing in the case has been deferred until Jun. 27, 2019.
Connie Troyzell Wells, 65, of Lucedale was sentenced for a Mar. 16 charge of felony driving under the influence causing injury. He was sentenced to 15 years with MDOC with seven years to serve and the remainder on PRS.
